The Enchanted Door

Nestled deep within the mountains, away from prying eyes, is a door like no other. The Enchanted Door is not only the birthplace of the Emerald River, but it is also the secret entrance to another realm.

The Enchanted Door draws inspiration from the real-life source of the Soča River. The 138-kilometre-long river originates from an ethereal karst source located in the Trenta Valley at the foot of the Julian Alps in northwestern Slovenia. Its emerald-azure hue will cast a spell over you. Transfixed, your restless thoughts will drown in a sea of awe.

At the bottom of a deeply cut, rock-strewn chasm, you can see, as if through a door, a calm, seemingly bottomless collection pool filled with crystal clear, green shimmering water in the bowels of the Velika Dnina mountain body.
